Senior Pensions Administrator - Glasgow Salary £19K - £24K + Excellent Benefits Package
Aon have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced pensions administrator to join their team situated in Glasgow city centre. Candidates will be experienced in the administration of Final Salary occupational pension schemes.
Role Purpose:- To provide a full pensions administration service to corporate clients, their employees and pensioners through the use of prescribed processes and procedures, and in accordance with Client Service Level Agreements.
Key Accountabilities for the Senior Pensions Administrator:-
Operational
Client/Customer - To deal with telephone enquiries about all aspects of the client arrangements, in a polite and professional manner, whilst maintaining strict confidence about individuals private information - To liaise with Team Leader/Operations Manager and /or Client Manager on any potential business or fee opportunities.
People/Development - To actively participate in the training and development of technical skills of others. May be used as a reference point for questions and be required to undertake one to one training of more junior staff.
Projects
Technical Knowledge/Requirements:- - Relevant experience with exposure to technical issues relating to pension scheme legislation. Would expect a good understanding of data protection, Inland Revenue Limits, rules and regulations and recent legislative changes. - Have experience in the transfer of technical knowledge to more junior staff. - Familiar with Microsoft applications and how they interact together. - Good working knowledge of Profund (not essential) - Ability to establish/demonstrate a good working knowledge of internal procedures and processes.
