Client Profile:
Our client is a well respected Third Party Pensions Administration Company.
 
Act as the Senior Analyst on either Installation or Client change projects. This may involve undertaking either data analysis or calculation specification analysis or general analysis for client change projects. This is an 11 month temporary contract.
 
Calculation Specification;
  • Analysis and interpretation of scheme rules and actuarial instructions and the production of calculation specifications
  • To work alongside calculation programmers to take into consideration programming requirements in the development of   specifications
  • Production of test matrices, test cases and completion of testing for calculations, including the resolution of all issues
  • To work with the programmer in production of user documentation
 
Data Analysis;
  • Undertaking all aspects of the data load process including data analysis, data mapping, issue resolution and data reconciliation covering both sample and live data
  • Identify and analyse data queries and produce sample and final data risk reports
  • Setting up of scheme profile
 
Experience;
  • Must be highly numerate, methodical and logical,  with a high level of problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Previous relevant pensions experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to take responsibility for the quality of their own work, using their initiative to achieve the required results
  • Experience and proficiency in working effectively in a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to work demands
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Good technical knowledge of pensions processes and legislation
