Client Profile: Our client are a firm of SSAS Specialists. In order to apply for this position candidates MUST have SSAS PENSIONS experience. Job Purpose:
· Central level Administrators would be expected to have some previous pensions admin experience. · At Comprehensive level, Administrators would be expected to have considerable SSAS administrative experience and be able to deal with more complex or high-risk transactions, respond to more involved customer queries and may have responsibility for coaching and mentoring less experienced members of staff, including identification and referral of training needs. · All staff will be expected to meet the performance indicators in accordance with their role, and will agree performance standards and targets with their line manager. Key Accountabilities Include: SSAS Transactions;
Knowledge, Skills and Experience: · Administrative experience and familiarity with office routines (at Core level, ideally some financial or customer services experience is preferred, at Central level we would expect pensions experience, and Comprehensive level should have good SSAS or SIPP experience) · Ability to understand and conform to laid down processes and routines · Empathy with customers and colleagues · Good at working to deadlines and progress chasing · Keyboard skills and literate in the standard IT programmes · Numerate - able to carry out manual calculations as required · Articulate - letter writing skills to include good spelling and grammar · Good communication skills - listening skills and telephone skills, self-confidence · Organised and systematic, with an analytical approach to problem solving · Flexible, professional and committed If your skills and experience within Pensions doesn’t quite fit this role, please still make contact with either Juliette Lister/Lisa Tremlettas we have a large database of vacancies not presently advertised.
