Pension Fund Manager

Would you like to take forward your experience in an in-house environment? Due to the retirement of the current Pensions Manager, this small but busy company is seeking a PMI qualified pensions professional to join their in-house team.As Pensions Manager, you will be required to take responsibility for the day to day management and operation of the Scheme and Trustee company. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of strategy for the scheme to ensure continued growth. Additionally, you will take responsibility for the interpretation of pensions legislation ensuring that the scheme is always compliant and in line with latest regulatory changes.You will head up the in-house pension administration team and will carry out ongoing reviews of the administration system to ensure a high quality service is delivered to all members. Additionally, you will ensure that the administration office is always adequately staffed and resourced, providing any training where required.Additional responsibilities will also include the review and development of communication strategies as well as the review of management accounting and reporting systems.To be successful in this position, you will be a strong analytical thinker who can work to their own initiative and make strategic decisions. Able to communicate at all levels, you will have the ability to motivate and mentor staff to ensure that they reach their full potential.
