COMPANY INFORMATION
Our client is an international financial services company with a varied product range.
In the UK they are a leading life and pensions provider. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to meet and exceed allocated sales and revenue targets with high value accounts within a defined geographical area.
JOB DETAILS
To deliver personal Sales revenue targets as set by the Management team via the communication of AVC, MPP, GPP, Stakeholder and generic information to staff members of existing and new scheme accounts. This will be achieved by, using a range of activities to include: presentations, F2F meetings, intranet, Direct mail Telephony, staff meetings etc.
Deliver excellent customer service to employee's of corporate pension clients, and developing excellent relationships through account management disciplines with agreed Employers, Pension Managers and HR Managers.
Develop sustainable and profitable professional partnerships with designated accounts.
Responsible for the delivery of activity targets as set by the management team.
Responsible for excellent lead management by working closely with the Telephony sales team.
Demonstrating that 'treating customers fairly' is part of their culture and is evident at all times.
"Provide clear information so that individual members of corporate pension schemes, understand the service they will receive and are in a position to make an informed choice about the appropriate course of action to help them achieve their financial goals at retirement".
Maintain excellent working relationships with relevant Account Managers and Business partners, assisting in delivering thetheir agreed business plans.
The Retirement Education Team will not be "Fully Authorised Individuals" and therefore the role will be to carry out various "information only" communication exercises.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS
Extensive experience of working within a T&C Sales environment
In depth knowledge of the Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution market - both occupational and GPP
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish close, productive and sustainable working relationships at ALL levels, using a variety of influencing styles
Builds on personal presence and authority to develop and achieve profitability relationships
Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise work
Highly self-motivated, being a self -starter - strongly committed to personal, team and corporate success
Innovative and creative thinking style
Excellent presentation skills
Good IT skills and a willingness to adopt new approaches and techniques with regards to presentations and communications generally
